Parent/Family Involvement Policy

Red Boiling Springs School will plan programs and activities to involve parents and families in their child’s education and keep parents informed about scheduled activities.

*Parent-Teacher Conferences - Parents may request

                       additional meetings to discuss matters related to their child’s education.

Red Boiling Springs School will meet annually with parents to discuss, review, and revise, if necessary, the Title I School-wide program, the School-Parent Compact and the Parent -Family Involvement Plan. Parents will be informed of the requirements and parent’s rights to be involved in the school. Flexible times will be offered for more parents to have opportunities to attend meetings, conferences, and other activities.

Red Boiling Springs School will inform parents/families of their child’s course of study and how to gain access to learning materials.

Red Boiling Springs School will endeavor to improve parent- teacher cooperation in areas such as homework, attendance, and discipline.

Red Boiling Springs School will provide opportunities for all parents to participate in their child’s education, including parents with disabilities, parents with limited English proficiency, and parents of migratory children. Information and school reports will be provided in the parents’ language
